Lyrebird Cottage
Lyrebird Cottage is a cute two to three bedroom house within metres to the foreshore of the Pumicestone Passage, Bribie Island. It is less than an hour's drive from Brisbane and only 40 minutes to the Sunshine Coast.
On the front of the house is a Navy mural depicting Moreton Bay. Lyrebird Cottage is airconditioned and has a television, video, DVD, playstation (on request) and a well stacked bookshelf of interesting books and DVDs. Also there is a doll's house and some little kid's toys and games.
The house is just around the corner from the new Aldi store and within walking distance of the Bribie Shopping Centre where there is Woolworths, Target and a heap of specialty stores. You can walk or ride to the jetty at Bongaree and the beautiful 'Brennan Park'. And you can bring your pets. There is a dog friendly beach not far from the house.
You will have to bring your own sheets, pillows, towels, toiletries, although linen can be supplied for an extra charge. Bring your own food from home or you can shop at locally or dine out at the many restaurants, clubs and take-aways.
