Raun Thai Restaurant
The Raun Thai Restaurant serves Bangkok style Thai food, not the heavily spiced food of the north east, or the Malay influenced food of the south of Thailand, and has done since 1994.
The first floor, air conditioned location is removed from the traffic noise and pollution. It has style but is casual and relaxed. The menu offers a wide range of entrees, meal sized salads, soups, curries and stir fried meals. Vegetarians are catered for with six entrees and 11 main meals, and other special dietary requirements can be accommodated.
The Brisbane News Dining Out Guide says, "This casual eatery presents well with table linen and arts and crafts sourced from Thailand. This is a charming BYO serving wholesome fare at decent prices".
