Queensland Maritime Museum

The Queensland Maritime Museum presents the stories and history of the maritime industry in Queensland. The museum features the warship Diamantina, the steam tug Forceful, the South Brisbane Dry Dock, and a large collection of exhibits. Visitors can climb aboard and explore a decommissioned Navy frigate or take one of the regular river-bay trips offered by the museum's SS Forceful, 1925 steam tug. SS Forceful has temporarily been removed from operation whilst repairs are made to the main circulation pump and carry out other maintenance on the vessel.
