The Bowery is a New York-inspired bar which has a well-deserved reputation for great cocktails, imported beers and top-shelf spirits. Sip away to the smooth sounds of funk and jazz. The Bowery was established in Brisbane's Fortitude Valley in October 2003. The Bowery was named after a street in New York City infamous for its speakeasies and gin joints during prohibition. The Bowery was designed to create a cocktail bar reminiscent of this era. Complete with live jazz during the week and some of Brisbane's finest disc jockeys on the weekends.
