Maori Wrasse Bommie

The Maori Wrasse Bommie off Lady Elliot Island in the Great Barrier Reef takes its name from the family of Wrasse which frequent the area. Reef sharks are frequently seen patrolling the nearby reef wall & arches area.

Follow the wall further north to Spyders Ledge, named for the number of shells by that name found in the area. Look for the shy Barramundi Cod & the brightly coloured clown triggerfish.
