Town of 1770 Golf Course and Driving Range
The Town of 1770 Golf Course and Driving Range is set on 68 acres of natural surroundings, offering a relaxed atmosphere you are sure to enjoy. Regarded as one of Queensland’s best kept nine hole golf courses, they are just minutes from the surf and sun of Town of 1770/Agnes Water and the magnificent beauty of the Great Barrier Reef. The course has been designed to satisfy all golf levels from the social player through to the touring professional. With the ease of a short par three to a 399 metre par four narrow dog leg left you will enjoy the challenge that awaits.
As you make your way around the course you will notice the soft sounds of native birds in the treetops and the lazy kangaroos admiring you as you tee off down the fairway. With an abundance of native grass trees and banksias which can mysteriously engulf your golf ball, you will be captivated by the beauty that surrounds you, and as your senses recognise the sweet smell of the wattle and tea tree in flower, you will remember that it is only a game of golf.
