Footprints Turtle Tour
Be part of nature with Footprints Adventures and do the famous Footprints Turtle Tour to one of the most important turtle rookeries in the southern hemisphere. Spend an evening under the stars to the sounds of the nearby ocean, as you witness the life cycle of this endangered marine animal. From early November to late March, giant female turtles return to Mon Repos beach to lay over 100 eggs in the dunes. Later, their tiny babies erupt from the warm brown sand and scurry to the awaiting ocean.
Footprints has been taking the hassle out of turtle watching for over a decade. The turtle tour is fully inclusive and covers return transport (30 kilometres), entry fee, levies and insurance. Pick up is from Bundaberg and Bargara.
Footprints is also dedicated to the conservation of sea turtles and funds important turtle research at a nearby rookery.
So, do a Footprints Turtle Tour today. You can help give back to nature and leave your footprints in the sand.
