Henderson Park Farmstay
A steak and a glass of wine beside a campfire under a million stars is a perfectly relaxing way to end the day. In the morning, step outside your self contained cabin set on the banks of Hedlow Creek and feel the tranquillity of the bush at Henderson Park Farmstay, 30 kilometres (half hour drive) north of Rockhampton, and 10 minutes off the Bruce Highway.
Henderson Park is a working property with 1,200 head of cattle. Have a look at what they do or relax on the verandah with a book - the decision is yours.
Hedlow Creek, some nine kilometres long, has been stocked with barramundi so wetting a line is a must, but swimming, canoeing or bushwalking (don't forget your camera) are all options.
