Child Island Dive Site

In the Keppel Group of Islands on the Great Barrier Reef,you can drift dive the deep channel to 30m between the Child & Barren islands known as "The Gulch". Its walls are lined with small colourful invertebrates. On a good dive, gropers, barracuda, trevally, stingrays, wobbegongs, cobia and surgeonfish can be seen. Novice divers can dive at 15m level to view magnificent coral formations, the Gulch cave, forests of sea whips and sea fans.
