Rangemore Estate
Rangemore Estate is a vineyard and grazing property located 80 kilometres west of Toowoomba. High up in the foothills of the glorious Bunya Mountains with its spectacular rainforest, Rangemore Estate has a 10 acre vineyard established in 1999 by the Allen Family.
Rangemore Estate has its own Cellar Door for wine sales, Bed and Breakfast, and for the adventurous camping facilities are also available.
The Cellar Door is an historic building previously used as a Fire Brigade Quarters in Dalby, The Northern Facing Verandah allows you to enjoy some wine tasting or a light lunch while taking in the spectacular view of the Bunya Mountains. The interior is air-conditioned.
Light meals are available from the cellar door, including brunch on Sundays. Local produce is used when in season and for something truly unique and local try Rangemore's famous Goat Curry Pies. The facility is also available for weddings and functions so please ring for further information.
To get the most intense fruit flavour characteristic in the wines, Rangemore only provide minimal water to the vines.
Rangemore has an abundance of wildlife and farmlife. The area is home to the pretty faced wallaby, koalas and echidnas and a wonderful array of birdlife. Spotlighting for wildlife, a visit to the neighbouring dairy farm at milking time and whip cracking are activities for guests of the Bed and Breakfast.
Once you see the view from your verandah you will never want to leave. Single units each with a private verandah, kitchenette and ensuite are ideal for couples. The three bedroom turn of the century cottage features a cosy log fire, sleeps up to six and has full cooking facilities, linen and bedding.
