Oonooraba

Featured on Maryborough's Walk and Drive Tour - Oonooraba, named after an aboriginal word for gathering place, is a Maryborough residence designed by Henry Mail Addison. It was built in 1892 for Mayor James Stafford. It was once set on six acres overlooking Ululah Lagoon. The original cast iron lacework around the verandah was replaced by wooden lattice when the original was removed and melted down for the war effort.
