Parkview Cottage
Featured on Maryborough's Walk and Drive Tour - Twice escaping the hangman's noose in England, Edward Priddy prospered after coming to Maryborough. He built the cottage in 1874 for his third wife Lucy. The cottage became known locally as Lucy Priddys Cottage, when the cottage was restored in 1977, it was found with the original iron-bark shingles under the iron roof when they opened up the attic. During this restoration the name was also changed to Parkview Cottage.
