The seaside town of Tannum Sands is nine kilometres from Queensland's Bruce Highway. This growing community with plaza style shopping complexes, hotel, clubs and a myriad of sporting facilities is a favourite holiday destination.
The Tannum Beach Caravan Village on the Esplanade is close to urban facilities while nestled in a bushland setting with access to kilometres of sealed walking and cycling paths. Accommodation includes television cabled caravan and camping sites, ensuite cabins to luxury villas. They offer covered barbecue areas, resort pool and spa, camp kitchen, tennis and table tennis.
The main beach is patrolled and perfect for year round swimming. The estuary opposite the Village is a favourite fishing spot. The many kilometres of sheltered water and handy boat ramp provide fishing, crabbing or just exploring. Kayaks are available.
Tannum Sands is an ideal base to access coral islands such as Lady Musgrave or Heron or enjoy the local attractions such as the Awoonga Dam, Cedar Galleries, Gecko Winery or Gladstone's Toondoon Gardens.
As well as local shopping, the park kiosk has newspapers, groceries, ice, bait, gas, drinks and confectionery.

1. Deluxe VillaStylish villa is tastefully decorated to accommodate a family of five offering the perfect retreat. Sleeps a maximum of five persons - this is a strictly non smoking unit, master bedroom with queen size bed made up with linen, second bedroom with two single ensembles or double bunks and a single bed with all linen included and a separate toilet and shower. The open plan kitchen, lounge and dining area is both appealing and spacious with terracotta tiling throughout. The kitchen is fully equipped with crockery, cutlery and cookware including refrigerator, electric frying pan, ceramic cooktop and microwave oven. The lounge room has two two-seater sofas, television and DVD player, reverse cycle split system air-conditioning and ceiling fan. The roomy balcony has an outdoor setting for four persons. 2. Two Bedroom VillaFor a family or two couples travelling together the two bedroom villa is the perfect accommodation option. The master bedroom contains a double bed made up with linen and has towels provided for a couple. There is a ceiling fan and reading lights. The second bedroom has the resort style double bed with a double mattress on the base and a single bunk above. Linen is available for hire if required. The bathroom consists of shower and toilet and includes a hair dryer. The kitchenette is fully equipped with crockery, cutlery and cookware. The living area has a small lounge suite, dining table and chairs plus colour television. All units have a spacious, private balcony with outdoor furniture setting. 3. One Bedroom VillaThese Melanesian villas are comfortable family accommodation capable of sleeping sleep up to five guests, units are close to both the pool and barbeque areas. Recommended for a family of two adults and three children however for that larger family a sofa bed is available in some units. Queen size ensemble in each villa complete with linen and towels . For the children there are triple bunks provided with pillows. Linen hire is available if required. The kitchenette comes complete with all crockery, cutlery, cookware and appliances including refrigerator, microwave oven and two-plate cook top. The combined kitchen/living area has reverse cycle air conditioning, ceiling fan colour television. Each villa has an ensuite. Glass sliding doors open onto your private balcony with outdoor setting. 4. Ensuite CabinThese three-star rated cabins are ideal for the budget conscious traveller; these comfortable duplex style units offer a quite, affordable option for families and couples. They allow up to five sleeping guests. Each unit contains a queen bed and bunk beds with a trundle in an open plan layout. Linen is not provided in our cabin section however all beds have pillows. The kitchenette is fully equipped with two plate cook-top, microwave oven and refrigerator. In additional crockery, cutlery and cookware are provided. The units all have air conditioning, ceiling fan, television and undercover car accommodation. The bathroom for the cabins is placed on the end of the carport area just outside the cabin. Access to the shower and toilet is undercover. 5. Ensuite Site (With Personal Bathroom)Treat yourself to luxury while enjoying the comfort of your own caravan or camper trailer. Ensuite sites offer the convenience of your own spacious shower, vanity and toilet. Tannum Beach Caravan Village offers spacious shady and sunny sites with concrete slabs all ensuite sites are cabled for television reception. 6. Powered SiteTannum Beach Caravan Village offers a choice of spacious shady and sunny sites with or without a concrete slab. Tourist sites are cabled for television. All powered sites and both powered and unpowered camp sites in Campground No. 1 are close to one of the amenities blocks. Campers who choose to set up in Campground Number Two are offered a spacious, grassed, timbered area where campfires are permitted. Both campgrounds are close to the camp kitchen, which is fully equipped with refrigerator, microwave, toaster, kettle, cook-top and electric barbecue. 7. Unpowered SiteTannum Beach Caravan Village offers a choice of spacious shady and sunny sites with or without a concrete slab. Tourist sites are cabled for television. All powered sites and both powered and unpowered camp sites in Campground Number One are close to one of the amenities blocks.
