Myella Farm Stay
Peter and Olive have been farming all their lives and have hosted guests since 1993. The farm consists of 2600 acres of land with 300 Brahrnan-cross cattle. Myella is unique, refreshing, educational and relaxed!
Myella Farm Stay is personal and relaxing being situated south-west of Rockhampton, and 16 kilometres from the small community of Baralaba. Myella was the winner of the 2007 Tourism Award for hosted accommodation and was a finalist in the Queensland awards. Myella is a genuine cattle farm where you can enjoy good food and country hospitality. Guests at the farm stay can choose more physical activities like horse and motor bike riding. Additionally, or alternatively, they can milk cows, feed kangaroos, bush walk, swim, view spectacular sunsets, all at their own pace and enjoyment. You can do as much or as little as you like. You will leave stiff, sore and dirty but happy!
