Wild Lime Cooking School
Wild Lime Cooking School uses native Australian food in fusion with Asian and Mediterranean cuisine in innovative and delicious ways. Cook with wild finger limes, lemon myrtle, warrigal greens, macadamia, kangaroo meat, mints and peppers, bush tomatoes - flavours of the bush.
The duration of the class is two hours followed by lunch and a tasting of local wines, to be sampled on the verandah overlooked by mountains. The Cooking School is situated in the gleaming stainless steel kitchen of the Wild Lime Cottage at Worendo - a beautiful property offering Bed and Breakfast accommodation in the spectacularly scenic Lost World Valley adjacent to the wilderness area of Lamington National Park. This is just one and a half hours scenic drive from Brisbane or the Gold Coast.
