Taboon
Taboon is a modern cafe basing it's cuisine around the traditional stone oven of the Middle East and drawing its recipes from a variety of countries such as Egypt, Lebanon, Israel, Morocco, and Turkey to name a few. The Taboon oven itself is the centre-piece of the cafe's open plan design and is used to bake fresh pita breads and pastries daily, grill marinated skewered meats and roast fish and vegetables.
Taboon is famous for its home-made dips, creative salads, interesting sandwiches, Middle Eastern pizzas and great coffee. The cafe's design is bright, airy and open featuring warm desert colours, atmospheric prints of Middle Eastern scenes and traditional cushion seating in its large bi-fold windows.
