Bucasia Beach
Bucasia Beach is only 10 to 15 minutes north of Mackay City and is part of Mackay's Northern Beaches. It was awarded a second in the Clean Beach Challenge for the Northern Region of Queensland. A stinger-resistant enclosure makes Bucasia Beach ideal for swimming. Bucasia is also a popular holiday spot that lures the keen angler. There is a beachfront caravan park and self contained holiday apartments available at the beach.
