Bonus Downs is 46 kilometres south west of Mitchell on the Bollon Road, has bitumen to the door and is only half an hour from Mitchell. It has accommodation in the rustic Jackeroos Quarters. Camping is also available in the shearing shed or bring your own tent.

Jackeroos CottageAs a true Jackeroos Cottage the atmosphere is rustic with verandas overlooking the homestead, the gully and the woolshed. There are no televisions, phones, computer games, hi-fi's or DVD's. The dining room shows off the history of Bonus Downs and is a very friendly room to relax and enjoy the sounds of silence or a conversation with others. Nestled beside the Cottage is a Smoko House where many meals are served under the stars of the beautiful western sky. | |
