Outer Barcoo Interpretive Centre

The Outer Barcoo Interpretive Centre features the world class fossil exhibit of ‘Isisfordia Duncani’, reported to be the ancestor of all modern crocodilians. The exhibits showcase time from 100 million years ago to the present day including changes of the flora and fauna from the surrounding area; local arts and crafts; and displays which range from nature and relics to general history about the Isisford Shire.

A 60-seat theatrette shows informative viewings and the centre has a fully operational café for visitors, locals and any business needs.

You are invited to relax with a meal and cool drink, purchase merchandise or souvenirs and take the time to browse through all that this attraction has to offer.
