Charleville Visitor Information Centre
The Charleville Visitor Information Centre is an accredited Tourism Information Centre with Tourism Queensland.
Services offered by the Information Include: information on all local attractions and activities; self drive walk and touring itineraries; bookings for the Cosmos Observatory; regional or Interstate travel information; local road conditions; booking service; Souvenir Outlet; Driver Reviver Free Cuppa and big friendly outback service!
Pleasantly situated in the Graham Andrews Parklands, with features including a Children’s adventure playground, barbeque facilities, lake and an abundance of birdlife, Native Timber Walk plus the famous Vortex Gun Display. The park is a pleasant break from driving.
Charleville is no stranger to awards. The Information Centre was Winner of the Outback Queensland Tourism Authority’s “Best General Tourism Services” Award in 2004 and 2005, and Charleville was named the winner of the Friendliest Town 2003. You must make Charleville a place to visit on your outback holiday.
