Oaklea is a working farm in the mountains of the Scenic Rim, close to the Main Range National Park and Queen Mary Falls. The Condamine River begins in the mountains nearby. There are spectacular mountain views from all the accommodation.

Oaklea is ideally located for relaxation or sightseeing, bushwalking, photography, bird watching or mountain bike riding. Being in the mountains, Oaklea is cooler than the lowlands in the summertime and in the winter the star seem just that much closer! Comfortable accommodation is available in the homestead, or in two self-contained cottages, sleeping one to seven people. A light breakfast is included in the tariff, but if guests prefer to bring their own, the tariff is reduced accordingly.

For longer stay they have substantial discounts.

Oaklea is only a two-hour drive from Brisbane or the Gold Coast, over scenic mountain roads, as you get closer.

Homestead The guest suite of the main house has two bedrooms with a double bed and two single beds, guest's sitting room, bathroom, private entry through an attractive garden and guest's privacy is ensured by booking out both rooms simultaneously only if they are required for the one booking. Guests are able to have dinner and lunch at a very reasonable price if desired. Mill Cottage Three bedroom fully self-contained cottage, will accommodate up to seven people. There is a queen bed, double bed and three single beds. The cottage has a large central living area with ample seating and a wood heater. There are timber decks on two sides. The cottage has a quiet and peaceful rural outlook with extensive mountain views. School Cottage The School Cottage is a studio arrangement with one double bed and two single timber bunks. The living area is large and comfortably furnished, with full facilities. There is a large range of books and magazines for guests to enjoy. There are verandahs on both north and south sides with comfortable seating to enjoy the extensive views towards the mountains from all sides.
