Ballandean Estate Wines is without a doubt an Icon in the Queensland Wine Industry. Acclaimed for their hospitality by the Tourism Industry, Ballandean Estate is a member of the Queensland Tourism Hall of Fame. Since opening their cellar door in 1970, almost 700 wine medals have been won. The management of this family business, headed by Queenslands' Godfather of the wine industry, Angelo Puglisi, have an unsurpassable passion for the industry. They are committed to consistently producing high quality award winning wines and continuing to build a solid brand. All wines are Estate grown and produced, a clear advantage in guaranteed quality.
The 90 acres of vineyard, nestled among the granite boulders, produce a wide range of grape varieties which in their final bottled product are unique to the Australian and export markets in flavour. Ballandean Estate Wines are open daily and light lunches are also available.
Ask about 'The Opera in the Vineyard' and 'Jazz in the Vineyard', two of the biggest annual events held at Ballandean Estate Wines.
