Vineyard and Winery at Mary Byrnes Wine
Mary Byrnes Wine is a micro-boutique winery and vineyard on the Granite Belt. They property was purchased in 1991 by Mary Byrnes and her husband Geoff Silcock. The vineyard and winery is the only venture on the Granite Belt where wine is produced from vine to wine by a female viticulturalist and wine maker. French style classic wines include Shiraz, Mourvedre, Granache, Marsonne, Roussanne and Vrognier.
The vineyard is approximately 800 kilometres above sea level, therefore the cool climate viticulture with mineral water and chemicals ensure quality grapes with distinctive regional flavour. Come and walk through their vineyard and taste wines straight from the barrel at the Vineyard and Winery at Mary Byrnes Wine.
