Rudds Pub

Situated 38 kilometres south of Toowoomba, in the heart of the country side, is Award Winning Rudds Pub, a historic, relaxing hotel in the small village of Nobby. Step back in time and view a wonderful collection of memorabilia and photographs of a bygone era that make this hotel a unique outback pub. Sit in the same room that author Steele Rudd, (Arthur Hoey Davis) of Dad 'n' Dave fame penned some of his famous books, and share a meal with the resident ghosts. You may even catch a sheep dog demonstration, or listen to a yarn from the resident Bush Poet.

Rudds Pub was established in 1893 and has all the charm of that era with memorabilia and photographs around the walls. An old railway cottage has been restored to create a cosy romantic accommodation for two with a verandah that overlooks the fertile soil and crops of the downs. Bus tours, car, bike and social clubs are their speciality with a barn that will seat 100 plus people for functions. Your visit to Rudds pub will be a truly unique outback experience and one you will remember for a long time.
