The Animal Farm at Maleny
The Animal Farm at Maleny is a 380-acre working cattle farm set on the rolling green hills of Maleny. The property has nine dams stocked with fish and red claw crayfish, and walking and horse trail riding tracks throughout. It has 12 cabins and three motel units all with verandas and rural views. The cabins are basic country cabins that are suitable for families - with lots of beds. Activities include cow milking, animal feeding (deer, goats, sheep, ducks, chickens and geese), pony rides for children and tractor rides, with horse riding an optional extra.
Families can self-cater. The property features a 16.6 metre pool, an electric barbecue shelter that seats 40 people and a unique hand carved Wedding Chapel that seats 120 people. This is a dinki-di family friendly farm stay. Daytime school excursions available weekdays.
