Ma'Mensa
Ma'Mensa is a taste of Italy in Hastings Street. Noosa's favourite Italian restaurant, Ma'Mensa, is one of the oldest established restaurants in Hastings Street known for its big tables, rock wall and wrought iron. There are several different areas of dining to choose from such as the courtyard in front to watch the passing parade, the bar to grab a pizza, the huge tables in the main area for large groups, and the back room which can cater up to 40 people for your own private dinner or function.
The menu relies on the traditional roots of Italian cooking and local produce infused with a modern twist by head chef, Belinda Tuckwell. It features homemade breads and pasta, suckling pig and saltimbocca as well as more contemporary dishes plus traditional thin crust pizzas. Their wine list showcases the best of Italian wines and they have 16 grappas to choose from.
