Bicycle Tours of Queensland Pty Ltd offers half, full and two day guided and self guided bicycle tours around South East Queensland. The tours operate along the Sunshine coast and hinterland, South Burnett, Wide Bay areas and Granite Belt. Bicycles, helmets, experienced tour guides are supplied. In addition, a backup bus to pick you up and drop you off at the ride start point, follow you on the ride and bring you back home is also arranged. Come and join their popular winery rides in the South Burnett, Somerset Region and Granite Belt.
Bicycle Tours of Queensland Pty Ltd cater for individuals, social and corporate groups and schools. The tours offer an ideal team building activity. The operator has rides to cater for all levels of fitness and bicycle riding experience. If you want to tailor make your own ride but would like a bit of backup please contact the operator.

Maleny to Gympie RideRiding out of the beautiful rural town of Maleny you follow the range to Witta where you cruise down the range into the Mary Valley. You ride through the Mary Valley to arrive in Kenilworth for your overnight stop. You can select your own accommodation from camping to Bed and Breakfasts. You visit the local wineries in the afternoon. The next morning after a hearty country breakfast you are back on the bikes heading to the quiet country towns of Imbil, Kandanga and Amamoor. After lunch you take a short ride to Dagun where you meet the Mary Valley Rattler Steam Train for nostalgic train ride into Gympie. You are met at the Gympie Train Station by their bus for the trip home. Maleny to Kenilworth RideThe ride starts in Maleny at the top of the range, then enjoy a cruise with the magnificent views over the coast and Mary Valley. The ride then moves down the range and into Conondale for morning tea. From here you'll follow the beautiful Mary River past picturesque farms and green rolling hills. Then, ride into Little Yabba Park for lunch and a walk into the forest. After lunch it's off to Kenilworth, stop in the township far a period to discover the cheese factory, the local pub and shops then it's back on the bus for the trip home. This is a great ride to experience the rural life and the hidden secrets of the Mary Valley. Maleny to the Coast RideYou travel by bus from the Sunshine Coast to Maleny. The ride begins in Maleny where you follow the range with it's magnificent views over the Glasshouse Mountains. Then its downhill into Mooloolah for morning tea. After morning tea you head out to ride through the disused railway tunnel. You then ride onto the Ettamogah Pub for a quick look then you travel under the highway through the rural backblocks of the coast to the Sunshine Coast University for lunch. After lunch you follow the bike paths to the coast and wind your way up to the Point Cartwright Lighthouse. This ride allows you to experience the Sunshine Coast from the mountains to the sea in the best way possible in one day. Somerset Region Winery RideYou travel by bus from the Sunshine Coast to Kilcoy. While the bikes are unloaded the riders enjoy morning tea in the park. After morning tea you ride out of Kilcoy following quiet country roads. You head up the valley following Kilcoy Creek to Hunting Lodge Winery. You get to taste some great wines unique to the area. This is followed by a gourmet lunch. You then ride to the second winery, Nirvana Estate where more wine tasting is enjoyed. The final winery you visit is Winya Wines. Their cellar door has only recently opened and the experience is very welcoming. From here it's back on the bus for the trip home. This winery tour is one of their most popular rides. South Burnett Winery RideThe South Burnett Winery Ride starts with a drive up the Bruce Highway, then out to South Burnett through Kilkivan and Goomeri. At Barambah Road before Murgon it's out of the bus to commence the cycling part of the tour. You'll ride approximately eight kilometres before the first Winery. You can try some of their 16 varieties of wines and liqueurs and indulge in a scrumptious morning tea. Then ride on to the Bjelke Peterson Dam for quick look before heading to the next winery to try some more wines and sit down to a sumptuous lunch. After lunch it's off to the final winery to try out some of their wines before it's back on the bus for the trip home. | |
