Holland Wines
Holland Wines is located one and a half kilometres from the centre of Crows Nest on the Blackbutt Road. Look for the sign above the front gate on your left. Holland Wines operates a small vineyard on the property, growing two varieties of grapes, Shiraz and Chardonnay. The processing of their grapes into wine is out-sourced.
The first commercial production of wine from their grapes commenced in 2005. Currently, eight boutique wine flavours are available at the cellar-door, four red and four white wines. The 2009 vintage is a pink sparkling wine.
The Cellar-Door and Gift Shop offers, apart from wine tasting and purchasing, an opportunity to browse over a display of local gifts. These can also be purchased from the friendly wine hosts Bob and Robyn Holland. The cellar-door is set in a relaxing garden setting containing peacocks and a variety of nature birds, with views of rolling hills as a back-drop. Tasty morning tea, afternoon tea or cheese platters, can be had with a glass of wine on premises, but advance notice would be appreciated. Parking space for all vehicles is available.
