Remote Area Dive
Remote Area Dive offers personalised dive courses/fun diving trips combined with camping safaris on tropical island paradises. The Northern most islands in the Palm Island group, Pelorus Island and Orpheus Island National Park are tropical wonderlands. The waters surrounding them are home to 310 of the regions 360 coral species and also a huge variety of fish and invertebrates. In the winter months, manta rays and humpback whales pass by the island on their migratory route, some even coming within metres of the boat.
Their dive courses are flexible to meet everyone's needs with after hours and executive classes. All courses are personalised with small student to instructor ratios to ensure every student gets the best training possible and their guarantee is that they will do everything possible to make you feel comfortable in the water.

Open Water Dive CourseThey'll take you on a dive/camping safari of a lifetime. You PADI Open Water Course is your first step in experiencing the mystery and intrigue of the underwater world. Includes two day theory, two days in the pool and a two day, one night diving safari. Students must complete a dive medical with an authorised doctor (not included in price, around AUD60.00). Flexible courses are available. Tour runs for a week, Monday to Sunday. Monday through to Thursday are evening theory and pool sessions from 4.30 p.m. until 8.30 p.m. (no accommodation and meals from those days). This is followed by two day, one night diving safari on Saturday and Sunday. Pickup from city area only. Reef tax, gear hire, transfers to and from safari and all meals while on safari. Tours occur all year round and are priced the same no matter what time of year it is. RAD Diving SafariEnjoy the freedom of exploring the underwater world at you own leisure. Over two days you'll experience some of the best diving the region has to offer. At night, wander along the beach while gazing at the stars or sit around the campfire roasting marshmallows. Pickup available from around the city area. Tour leaves on Saturday 6.00 a.m. for a two day, one night diving and camping safari. Returns at approximately 6.00 p.m. on Sunday, depending on the tides. Tariff includes reef tax, gear hire, transfers to and from safari and all meals while on safari. Tours occur all year round and are priced the same no matter which time of year it is. | |
