This very private one and a half hectare property backs onto the beautiful, pristine mountain stream Hutchinson Creek where, if you are lucky, you may get to share your private swimming hole with a cassowary coming down for a cool drink or catch a glimpse of the elusive platypus. The retreat adjoins World Heritage Listed rainforest and overlooks the ever changing majestic Alexandra Mountain range, and is shadowed by the third highest mountain peak in Queensland, Thornton Peak. The retreat is located a short five minute drive to beautiful Cow Bay and the Thornton Beaches, and only two hours drive north of Cairns. Your hosts live next door and are only too happy to make your stay both memorable and enjoyable in this very special part of the Daintree Coast in Tropical Far North Queensland.
