Figtree Lodge
Figtree Lodge is an award-winning, three and a half star privately owned and operated boutique style hotel, located just minutes from Cairns Central Business District and Airport. The property features an open plan design set amidst tropical landscaped gardens and is built with the extensive use of natural timbers. From the stunning timber entrance, to the tall Cypress poles and the pyramid ceiling, one can appreciate the effort taken to create a complex that maximises natural light and breeze flow to create a truly unique setting.
The lodge has 46 Standard Rooms of varying configurations. Rooms are well appointed and nicely furnished, decorated with wrought iron and rattan cane furniture, terracotta tiles, wooden louver blinds and colourful fabrics creating a contemporary Mediterranean feel. Ten spacious Studio Apartments featuring modern decor, warm colours and kitchenettes were added in 2001 to complement the existing rooms.
As a privately owned establishment, Figtree Lodge prides itself on its warm and friendly environment. This is achieved by a dedicated team of people's people who bring it to life and create an intimate place where management is 'hands on' and the service is attentive, ensuring all that visitors will want to return time and time again.
