Australis Art Gallery
Australis Art Gallery is situated in Kuranda, the picturesque mountain retreat which is nestled at 400 metres altitude, 25 kilometres northwest of Cairns and surrounded by lush World Heritage Rainforest.
The philosophy of the gallery is to reflect the surrounding tropical beauty as interpreted by the painters Richard Bogusz, Ludo Collingwood, Angela Meyer, Ludij Peden, David Stacey and Kimberley Payard plus the sculptors Kurt Becker, Heidi Becker, Bruce Walford, Lindsay Muir and Valerie Willy, and glass artists Tina Cooper, John Westacott, Lucas Salton, Greg Royer, Judith Bohm-Parr, and Victoria Nelson.
