Pixie Pinnacle Dive Site
On the Great Barrier Reef off Cairns, rising 30m and about 15m across, Pixie Pinnacles is a huge cone shaped 'pyramid' that is covered in corals hard and soft, gorgonians, sea whips and sponges. Underneath the overhangs and caves see lionfish, moray eels, shrimps, anemones with their clownfish, cleaner wrasse. Fairy Basslets create an amazing pink cloud while they feed in the current.
