Stepping Stones Dive Site
Stepping Stones, off Hamilton Island on the Great Barrier Reef, is a series of 18 or more flat-topped coral pinnacles forming "stepping stones" with many interesting channels and caves to explore. Large areas of plate coral with fields of blue staghorn, schools of Batfish, Giant Maori wrasse, moray eels, and an abundant variety of tropical fish. Snorkelling across the tops is excellent.
