Adelaide Hills Getaway aims to provide a relaxed, restful experience in a natural country village environment. The complex consists of four self contained units which include two spacious studio units, a two bedroom unit and the five bedroom Gum Tree Lodge with its downstairs conference/ function room and courtyard. The L shaped complex was built in the 1980's substantially of bluestone and double red brick with veranda frontage to enhance the locations heritage precinct and adjacent historic walk. Located in a small rural village of Macclesfield on the upper reaches of the Angas River with village square, Sunday market, local vineyards and wineries, walking/cycling trails and attractions. It is a popular wedding destination.
The whole complex is capable of sleeping 18 adults twin share or 22 adults twin share with four share in the studio units. It is available as separate self contained apartments or as a whole complex for exclusive use.
