Tilbrook Estate
Hand made by our hands. This is James and Annabelle Tilbrook's vineyard and winemaking philosophy. Our vineyard, based in the beautiful Lenswood region is unique with French inspired close planted vines and terracing across steep slopes, where they grow Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. The old Onkaparinga Woollen Mills, in Lobethal, now provides a home for the combined winery and cellar door. The building is solid brick and was built around 1900 and is the smallest 'from grape to bottle' winery in the Adelaide Hills. At the cellar door you can see right into the winery, and meet the winemaker, as well as taste the range in the comfort of a sophisticated setting, with a blazing wood fire in winter. During the summer months why not sit outside with a glass of wine and cheese platter?
Tilbrook Estate has on offer wonderful cool climate, elegant but flavoursome, award winning sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Sangiovese, Shiraz, Merlot, Cabernet, and very delightful Pinot Gris Dessert Wine.
Next door is the Heart of The Hills Market where you can sample gourmet food, fresh local produce, have a coffee or look at the wonderful range of wares and crafts.
