Cleland Wildlife Park
Ever wanted to hold a Koala? At Cleland Wildlife Park you can!
Just 20 minutes drive from Adelaide in the Adelaide Hills, you can touch and feed some of South Australia’s most captivating wildlife in Adelaide’s oldest and much loved open range wildlife sanctuary.
Have your photo taken holding a Koala, hand feed kangaroos and wander amongst Australian wildlife through the open space enclosures. Learn about native species by joining animal keepers as they feed lorikeets, Tasmanian Devils, Dingoes, water birds and other native animals during daily feeding sessions.
At night time the bush also comes to life. Accompany knowledgeable guides on a nocturnal tour as you share the night-time world of Australia’s intriguing and endangered animals including potoroos, bettongs and bandicoots as they forage for food in the leaf litter. Wallabies and kangaroos also become more active and alert at night. Bookings are essential.
Don’t miss out on the Ocean to Outback Interpretative Centre where South Australia’s unique landscapes, from the coast to the outback – and even the backyard – are on display at Cleland.
Cleland Wildlife Park is nestled within the natural bush setting of Cleland Conservation Park just five kilometres from Mount Lofty Summit.
Personal encounters with Australian wildlife, combined with a licensed cafe and souvenir shop, ensures there’s something for everyone at Cleland!
