Port Bikes
Port Bikes is a free bike hire scheme, which gives you two free hours of bike hire use within the Port Adelaide and Semaphore area. Have fun cycling around the fascinating Port Adelaide State Heritage Area and seaside Semaphore while calling in to visit attractions along the way.
All that is required is completion of a registration form and a photo ID, which will be held as a deposit until you return. The first two hours are free, but if you need extra time for sightseeing the cost will be AUD2.00 per hour for every hour thereafter up to a maximum of six hours. Bikes need to be returned to the Port Adelaide Visitor Information Centre by no later than 4pm on the day of hire.
Upon registration you automatically receive a free Bicycle SA day membership, which covers you for insurance for the duration of bike hire. A bike is provided along with a safety helmet, security lock and bike route map.
