The Beachouse is packed with Australian-first and world-class attractions. Located in the premier seaside suburb of Glenelg, The Beachouse is just a 20-minute tram ride or drive from the city centre. It’s the perfect destination for a day out: guaranteed to entertain the kids and give adults a few thrills as well. Our line-up of attractions include:
Waterslides - There are three to choose from: two body and one raft - all fully enclosed and heated - offering rides of up to 130 metres with a water surge of 90 litres per second to thrust you through the tunnel. You’re guaranteed to have the ride of your life.
Dodgem Cars - Australia is now only the second country in the world to have Soli Italian Formula One dodgem cars, regarded as the Rolls Royce of dodgem cars. Built by the world’s oldest dodgem car manufacturer in Bologna, Italy.
Play Castle - Its five stories high with giant sea animals hanging from the roof. Beachouse staff is there to enhance playtime but please ensure you supervise your child at all times. Designed in Canada, it is the best of its kind in the world.
Arcade Games - The Beachouse is overflowing with the latest and greatest games from America, Japan and Italy.
Carousel - The Beachouse at Glenelg is home to Australia’s oldest carousel. Built in the late 19th Century in Britain with the horses carved by Germany’s famous carver Friedrich Heyn. The historic carousel now takes pride of place at the Beachouse following a two-year restoration.
Mini Golf - Likened to a movie set at Universal Studios, the 18-hole course sets a new Australian standard. Concentrating on the ball may be difficult with dramatic water shows, sound effects and train whizzing past.
Bumper Boats - We have Blaster Boats! You had better not plan to stay dry; each boat is armed with a cool water cannon - so look out!
The Train - The Beachouse Train was manufactured in Italy. The train travels around the mini golf course - which has a western mining theme. The train is great fun for all members of the family.
Cafe - You will be able to indulge in freshly baked gourmet treats as well as those old favourites including fairy floss, donuts and Gelato - all made on-site daily.
