Barossa Valley Day Tour - GGG01The Barossa is Australia's most famous wine region. The Groovy day begins travelling through the Adelaide Hills, stopping at the World's Largest Rocking Horse and the amazing Whispering Wall, and then on to our first winery Orlando, home of Jacob's Creek. This is an extra special stop as only a small selection of tour companies are permitted to come to this winery. We spend approximately one hour in the Orlando Interpretive Centre, going through the history of the Jacob's Creek brand, followed by wine tasting and an educational presentation that will set you up for your day of wine tasting. After visiting the Orlando Interpretive Centre we head into Tanunda, an historical town in the Barossa Valley and Vine Crest Winery. Back on board, off to Richmond Grove. While you are enjoying the wine from the cellar door, we will be preparing a barbecue extravaganza, including traditional steak and chicken, along with an Aussie speciality of Kangaroo. Vegetarians are not forgotten. After a 'Big Feed' we travel to a fourth winery, then it's up to Mengler Hill lookout to admire the views before heading back through Tanunda to Adelaide by about 5pm. Operates: Daily from 7:45am to 5pm approximately. Boomerang Two Day Tour - GG05Heading north or south? Groovy Grape's Boomerang trip guarantees a cheap and cheerful journey from Adelaide to Alice Springa or Alice Springs to Adelaide with the chance to explore Coober Pedy the opal capital of the world. Staying in underground accommodation you get to sleep like the locals. Operates: From Adelaide on Wednesday and Saturday at 6.30am and from Alice Springs on Wednesday and Saturday at 6.30am. Campwild Kangaroo Island Three Day Wildlife Safari - GGG07Enjoy awesome activities, sand boarding, hiking, snorkelling, amazing wildlife and isolated beaches on this small group tour with private charter boat transfer to Kangaroo Island. Escape the city and head north to the beautiful Flinders Ranges. Passing through small country towns like Quorn and Hawker and discovering the ancient Aboriginal artwork at the Yourambulla Caves on the way. A viewpoint for amazing photos and keep an eye out for the abundance of wildlife that inhabits this expanse. Visit Talc Alf - this outback artist is a true character! From Maree, rich in its history of camel trains, along the Oodnadatta Track, follow the old Ghan Railway and its long abandoned railway settlements. Stop at Coward Springs, for a relaxing, all-natural spa. This is remote territory, with red, stony plains stretching to the horizon. Taking an isolated track through the world's largest cattle station (Anna Creek), head for the opal capital of the world, Coober Pedy in time for lunch. Take an underground tour to learn about the history of Coober Pedy and its opal. Great Ocean Road and Grampians Three Days - GGG04Depart either Adelaide or Melbourne on one of the world's best coastal routes blended with the beauty and history of the Grampians National Park, you have one of the best trips in Australia. From Melbourne at 6:45am on Tuesday and Friday all year round and also Sunday from December to March. Rock 2 Water Five and a Half Day Tour - GG06The Rock 2 Water tour will depart Alice Springs to Adelaide every Tuesday. The five and a half day/five night tour explores the best of the red centre before heading south through Coober Pedy. Operates: Departs Alice Springs on Tuesdays all year round, and also Saturday from May to October at 12pm. Rock Patrol Six Day Tour - GGG09The Groovy way to explore the best of the Red Centre starting from Adelaide.
