Prime Mini Tours is a wholly South Australian family owned and operated company that was formed in 1995 to cater for people who wanted to travel to South Australia's magnificent regions including the Barossa Valley, McLaren Vale, Adelaide Hills, Fleurieu Peninsula and the Murray River. Travel in air conditioned mini buses with driver/guide and full commentary. Pick up and return from selected hotel/motels is available. Most tours include lunch.

Spend a day in the Barossa Valley. Enjoy winery visits and tastings, see the world's largest rocking horse and Toy Factory, Angas Park Dried Fruits and the Whispering Wall. Highlights include: Travel through the scenic Torrens Gorge. Browse through the Toy Factory at the world's largest rocking horse. Passing through the picturesque countryside and on to visit Angas Park Dried Fruits. Purchase from a superb range of dried fruits, nuts and chocolate coated items. To date Wolf Blass Wines has over 3,000 national and international trophies and gold medals. Visit the heritage museum and trophy room. Then on to lunch to enjoy a three course meal at the Nuriootpa Vine Inn. After lunch we visit Vinecrest. We will show you the best views of the Barossa from Menglers Hill Lookout, a great photographic opportunity (time permitting). Barossa Vines offers an affordable range of wines for modern day living, see miles of vineyards stretch out in front of you, undulating hills and historic cottages. It is a view inspired by poets and sketched by artists. Last winery for the day is the Kies Family Wines at Lyndoch. The friendly staff will provide a superb selection of premium red wines, white table wines, sparkling, ports and muscats. Visit the acoustic phenomena of the Whispering Wall, an engineering feat. Return to Adelaide via Gawler. Operates: Daily at 8.45am to 5.30pm.

Hahndorf and Victor Harbor Day Tour - PMT03

Join us for a day of contrasts from the German heritage village of Hahndorf in the picturesque Adelaide Hills to the stunning coastal scenery of Victor Harbor and Goolwa on Adelaide's south coast. Highlights include: Depart Adelaide and travel via the leafy eastern suburbs to the Lookout at Mount Lofty Summit for spectacular views of Adelaide and surrounds, and some great photographic opportunities. Visit Hahndorf, the popular historic German heritage township. See the Model Train Village, local pottery, jewellery, leather crafts, ironwork and much more. Stop for morning tea at the Hahndorf Inn. Continue on to the old river port town of Goolwa. Today, Goolwa is a popular tourist destination located at the mouth of the River Murray. Optional highlight Sundays only – board the Cockle Train at Goolwa meet the coach in Victor Harbor. Stop at the Port Elliot Lookout and get your camera ready for another superb view of the coastline. Travel along the coast to Victor Harbor, a former whaling and shipping port. Visit the Whale Centre and Museum (optional at own expense), Granite Island and its Fairy Penguins, ride the famous Horse Drawn Tram (optional at own expense) or just enjoy the seaside atmosphere. Whales may be sighted during May to October. At Victor Harbor, you can purchase lunch at one of the many cafes or hotels or bring your own. Continue on to the McLaren Vale one of Australia's finest, oldest and most scenic wine, olive and almond growing regions. Enjoy wine tasting at Hardy's Wines including a gourmet selection of cheeses, dried fruits and biscuits. Visit the Dridan Fine Art Gallery. Almond tasting at the Almond Train. Travel back to Adelaide via the main coastal road. Whilst relaxing, capture the sun setting on the Gulf St Vincent (during winter months) and the Adelaide city buildings before passing the seaside town of Glenelg en route to Adelaide. McLaren Vale and Adelaide Hills Day Tour - PMT05

Join us on the McLaren Vale and Adelaide Hills Winery Ultimate Tour as we spend the day tasting wines and visiting local attractions of the McLaren Vale and Adelaide Hills regions of South Australia. Highlights include: Morning tea at Blessed Cheese in the heart of McLaren Vale. Enjoy organic coffee, tea and your choice from a selection of cakes. Fox Creek Winery for a tour of their modern wine making facility where we will have an opportunity to view their production facility as well as their barrel rooms. We then move to their picturesque cellar door for a tasting of their award winning wines. The Olive Grove where we will then have an opportunity to sample some of the premium olives. They also produce their own range of wines for tasting and sell a range of locally produced gourmet delights. It is then on to Woodstock Winery for a tasting and delicious two-course lunch (includes Woodstock's renowned Regional Platter). An ideal opportunity to select your wine to purchase with lunch. The spacious lawns, paved courtyard and expansive glassed area is a truly relaxing setting to sit back and savour the delightful lunch. If we can drag you away, we then move to Hugo Wines. We will now depart the McLaren Vale area for a 30 minute drive through the very pretty southern Adelaide Hills to the home of the world-renowned Petaluma Wines. The old Bridgewater Mill, which is part of the winery complex, is an Adelaide Hills icon and a perfect backdrop to enjoy some top class wines. Our last stop for the day is the small boutique winery of Arranmore. A total area of approximately five acres ensures the wines are produced using traditional methods in the style of Burgundy. A visit here is a truly personal 'hand on' experience. The view from here is breathtaking and a great finish to a very invigorating day before we leave and head back to the city via Greenhill Road and equally outstanding views to the city, suburbs and coast. River Murray Experience Day Tour - PMT04

Join us as we depart Adelaide's suburbs travelling through the picturesque Adelaide Hills enroute to Australia's biggest river the mighty Murray. On arrival enjoy morning tea aboard the Jester as we depart for our three hour cruise. Relax on board as our Skipper provides an interesting commentary on the river system including some Aboriginal folklore. Take in the peaceful tranquillity of the River Red Gums while spotting galahs, cockatoos and pelicans. Returning to the dock there is time to explore Mannum, the birthplace of river paddle steamers. Enjoy a relaxing cold buffet lunch on board the MV Jester. Explore the PS Marion, a restored 100 year old paddle steamer Visit the Mannum Lookout to enjoy the panoramic view over the River Murray, a great photograph opportunity. Depart the River Murray enroute via the scenic Onkaparinga Valley to Melba Chocolates for tasting from a wide assortment of chocolates. Travel via Oakbank, Balhannah, through the Piccadilly Valley to Mount Lofty Summit to view Adelaide and its surroundings, another great photograph opportunity which can possibly be visited in the morning depending on weather conditions.
