Warrawong Wildlife Sanctuary is home to 100 species of birds and many native mammals. Warrawong offers a unique opportunity to get amongst the Australian bush and wildlife in a protected habitat. This wildlife park in Adelaide is only 20 minutes from the city, so make a trip to Warrawong, one of your things to do. Guided interpretive tours depart every evening at sunset when the animals are most active. Bookings are essential. Daily animal shows at 11.00am and 2.00pm.

Visitors will encounter Australia's threatened wildlife like potoroos, platypus, kangaroos, bandicoots and bettongs in 35 acres of habitat. A fascinating walk through the habitats of Australia's native wildlife by night. Combine your tour with dinner in the Warrawong Restaurant for a truly memorable evening. Dinner and walk packages are available. Operates: At sunset, seven day a week.

Warrawong Wildlife Sanctuary Self Guided Tour

Discover the wetlands and rainforest habitats of the sanctuary by day. Follow the trails and boardwalks past platypus ponds and appreciate the stunning beauty and scope of the natural rehabilitation. Watch for wild platypus, wallabies, freshwater fish, turtles, koalas and other Australian wildlife. Combine the tour with lunch in the Warrawong Restaurant. Interactive animal shows at 11am and 2pm daily. Operates: Seven days a week, 9am to 9pm. Free entry between 9am and 4pm. Admission cost applies after 4pm.
