Barossa Valley Cheese Company
The Barossa Valley Cheese Company produces artisan cheese made from the finest cows milk in the Barossa.
The company's story begins in France, where cheesemaker Victoria Glaetzer was working. Victoria was inspired by that nation's love for cheeses and returned to Australia with a passion for producing the delicate flavours of regional cheese here in South Australia.
Using fresh milk sourced daily, directly from a local dairy, Victoria and her business partner and mother, Frances McClurg, now specialise in hand-making soft white mould, washed rind, and fresh cheese styles.

You can grab a trail pack for $45 which is suitable for 2-3 people. The packs are insulated, zipper cooler bags that contain a hand-crafted cheese board, knife, crackers, four Barossa cheeses, refreezable ice cubes and the most important part - the map that guides you through the valley, matching the cheeses to wines.
There are 30 wineries along the trail, so you can create your own journey or follow one of the six specific trails that the Barossa Valley Cheese Company has put together. The choice is yours.
When you have finished the trail, the pack and its contents are yours to take home and use again when next you picnic in the great outdoors.
