Stroll through more than two and a half hectares of lavender at the multi-award winning Lyndoch Lavender Farm. Touch and smell more than 80 different varieties.
This is your opportunity to visit a working lavender farm in beautiful rural surroundings, with an abundance of birds, butterflies and Bearded Dragons in spring and summer.
Lyndoch Lavender Farm provides scenic walks and gourmet food tasting. There’s a sheltered cafe offering light meals and wine tastings, and a shop with a fantastic range of lavender products - toiletries, household products, plants, and gifts. Be sure to talk to the staff who are always keen to help you learn more about lavender!
Lyndoch Lavender Farm was voted Best Tourist Attraction in the Best of Adelaide competition on Radio Station MIX102.3 in 2005.
Tour options available at Lyndoch Lavender Farm:
Self guided tour through our colourful lavender landscape, including tea/coffee and gourmet lavender tastings AUD2.00 per person (standard admission).
Guided tour of lavender plantings, their uses and properties, cultivation and distillation demonstrations, tea/coffee, tasting and lavender cake or biscuit for groups of 10 or more; around 45 minutes) AUD5.00 per person.
Morning/Afternoon Tea and Tour - in addition to the tour of your choice add our famous scones, jam and cream (lavender or plain).
Sparkling Sunset - here on our picturesque hillside we have the most spectacular views of the setting sun. What better way to finish the day. In addition to the self-guided tour, we provide a glass of Sparkling Wine, hors d'oeuvres and an unforgettable experience (groups of 10 or more) - AUD14.50 per person.
Open daily 10am to 4.30pm from September to February, and 10am to 4.30pm on weekends and public holidays from March to August. Other times by appointment.
