Uniquely positioned as the most northern cellar door outlet in the Clare Valley, Cardinham Estate offers an experience often missed by many visitors to the Clare Valley.
Cardinham Estate is located five kilometres north of the Clare Main Street in the scenic Stanley Flat region. Sheltered by the rising hills of the valleys around, giant Red Gums stud the banks of the Hutt River as it begins its journey to the mighty Broughton River system. The Stanley Flat region is one of the oldest grape producing areas in the district, and this becomes evident from the roadside as you venture north to our cellar door with many of the vineyards planted shortly after 1840 still being in production today.
After nearly 20 years of producing wine grapes exclusively for the valley’s most significant wine companies, Noel, Heather, Scott and Shane have moved into the production of wine under the vineyards original name, Cardinham.
