Clos Clare
A small winery established in 1993, owned by Tom and Sam Barry, grandsons of Jim Barry, with just under two hectares of Riesling.
The cellar door is in an old house on the famous Florita vineyard built in the 1890's that was revamped in the 1920's and resembles an Italian villa. The vines are hand picked, hand pruned and dry grown. The wine is bottled under the Clos Clare. A Shiraz and Grenache is also produced. Wines are available through the cellar door, by mail order or from retail outlets in Adelaide and interstate and restaurants.
