Knappstein Wines
Knappstein Winery of Clare Valley, South Australia is one of the most recognizable popular Clare Valley wineries. A small producer of premium quality wines who manage their own vineyard, harvest the fruit at vintage and make and sell wine. Knappstein is located in the original nineteenth century Enterprise Brewery, itself a National Trust building and the landmark of the Clare township.
Knappstein Hand Picked Riesling, consistently rated amongst Australia’s finest, has a spine of lime citrus typical of Clare Riesling and floral notes attributable to the location of the vineyard in the Watervale area.
The cellar door is open seven days a week and there is also a micro brewery where Knappstein brew their own beer.
