Sevenhill Cellars
Established by the Jesuits in 1851, Sevenhill Cellars is the oldest and arguably the finest existing winery in South Australia's world famous Clare Valley wine region. The winery was originally provided sacramental wine for religious purposes.
Today Sevenhill Cellars is considered one of Australia's best premium wine producers and a thriving tourist attraction.
Sevenhill Cellars produce a range of quality white, red and fortified wines that are enjoyed by wine enthusiasts throughout the world. Possessing highly desirable rich varietal characters and a rare depth of intricate flavours, our wines are a regular favourite with wine judges.
The quality of our wines and the historical and religious significance of the winery attract thousands of tourists each year. Visitors can try and purchase our wines at our cellar door, explore remarkable underground cellars, visit the Crypt-resting place for 41 Jesuits, discover walking trails or enjoy a picnic in our stunning grounds.
