Grosset Wines
Grosset Wines is a small winery specialising in the production of premium Riesling, Chardonnay and Gaia, a Cabernet blend.
This fully functioning winery is situated in the township of Auburn. Its cellar door, built of local stone was once a butter and ice factory.
Jeffrey Grosset won the Inaugural Australian Volvo/Wine Magazine Winemaker Of The Year Award in 1998. He also won the Inaugural Riesling Winemaker Of The Year Award at the second Riesling Summit in Hamburg, Germany in 1998. This accredits him with both national and international recognition in winemaking.
This small winery with emphasis on personal contact and excellence in winemaking is open for cellar door sales from September, but traditionally sells out within six weeks. It is not equipped for groups or clubs, unless by prior arrangement.
Open for six weeks approximately from the first weekend in September, Wednesday to Sunday.
Mail order customers and enthusiasts are welcome.
