Skillogalee Wines
Skillogalee is a small family-owned and operated winery set amongst wooded hills in one of the most picturesque parts of the Clare Valley. It is unique in the region as a tourism winery, offering an integrated package of cellar door tasting and sales, winery restaurant and a range of self-contained accommodation for visitors. All three attractions are open seven days a week throughout the year (the cellar door and restaurant are closed only on Christmas Day and Good Friday).
The cellar door and restaurant are set in an historic settler's cottage, surrounded by cottage gardens, the vines and set amongst rolling wooded hills. Visitors can sample our estate-grown wines or lunch al fresco, in the kinder weather, on the verandah or under the shade of an old olive tree. In winter there are log fires and warm rugs to keep you cosy. The restaurant serves an eclectic al la carte menu featuring selected regional produce, freshly prepared and professionally served, in a relaxed atmosphere.
We offer a range of self-contained Bed and Breakfast accommodation for visitors with two purpose-built cottages (two and three bedrooms respectively) and a spacious stone farmhouse, tastefully restored and furnished in contemporary style to provide a high standard of luxury and indulgence.
Bookings for lunch are advisable especially on weekends and in the holiday periods. Buses by appointment.
